Barrick Gold continues to expand its operations at the Hemlo Williams Mine and open pit, situated approximately 35 kilometres east of Marathon, Ontario. Although the Hemlo mine complex has produced over 22,000,000 ounces of gold in the past 30 years, there appear to be continuous opportunities at the mine for many years of ongoing production based on statements from Barrick Gold during 2017.
The past two quarters have seen significant value added to several properties held by TRI the Hemlo, Shebandowan and Opinaca gold camps.

Tashota Resources Inc. (TRI) is pleased to announce that it has recently signed additional option agreements to acquire a 100% interest in approximately 14,500+ acres, namely “Hemlo West & Black River” and “Hemlo North”. This is in addition to the 100% interest in the 3,500+ acres “Hemlo South” claims located to the South of and adjacent to the 23 million ounce Hemlo (Williams Mine) property which is 100% owned by Barrick Gold, located approximately 46 kilometres east of Marathon, Ontario.

In a previous news release (December 19, 2013) TLCX management had announced a successful completion of an Option Agreement with Advandtel Dominicana SRL, (ADSA) wherein ADSA had agreed that, based on a combination of cash and treasury shares of TLCX, TLCX could acquire a 100% working interest in the (previously Majugual) 8,000 acre Angelica Concession, subject to approval from the Director General of Mining (DGM) and shareholders of TLCX and Tashota Resources Inc. The concession in question was held initially by Energold Drilling which had optioned the property to ADSA.
